As a lifetime member of Weight Watchers, a monthly weigh in is required to maintain your status. This morning I went and I always leave with more knowledge and enthusiasm than before I walked through the doors. My experience at meetings is typically educational mixed in with some humor and always a lot of passion for the WW lifestyle! A little light hearted humor from this morning:
Leader: Does anyone know why those who have fewer hours of sleep nightly have a 15% greater chance of obesity?
Member: Because there’s more time to eat!!! We all laughed. Great point 👍🏼

Our leaders advice: Make sure you get plenty of sleep. Wait, did I hear her tell me to take a nap??? Ok, I can do that 😉
I’m experiencing some anxiety right now, and this poster in the meeting reminded me of what I need to do when I get home – lace up and go out for my walk. Walking is a huge part of my journey – not only for the physical exercise, but also spiritual. It’s my time spent with God for prayer and reflection. I always return home feeling refreshed.
