Since beginning my health & fitness journey I’m always looking for different ways to challenge myself. So yesterday while on a flight, I was thinking about it along with setting a goal for the month of October. The flight attendant came around to take drink orders and I automatically ordered my Diet Coke. As I was drinking it, I realized I wasn’t really enjoying it. At that moment, I remembered an Instagram post that came across my feed on the effects Diet Coke has on your body. It dehydrated your body, lowers your bone density which increases your risk for osteoporosis, effects your kidneys, teeth, increases risk of metabolic syndrome, diabetes… Just to name a few!
Blah blah blah …. I’ve heard that a million times before. Besides, doesn’t everything cause something!
But there was something in that moment on the plane that changed and I decided to challenge myself for the remainder of the month to take a break from my beloved DC, and focus on drinking more water. I can’t wait to see what the results will be!!!
