It’s hard to believe that May is behind us, and June has arrived! Why does time fly faster the older we get π€
I’m really having fun experiencing items on my 54 Before 54 list. During the month of May I completed my second StepBet, explored more yoga & other fitness classes, and set into motion other things on my list.
TWO days into June, and I’ve already set into motion FIVE things!!! June is guaranteed to be adventurous β€οΈ
But let’s talk about how the month of May ended!!! Fishing & fellowship with friends. Steven & I went to a fishing camp belonging to his friend Cornell & his wife Cheryl, along with Bill & Wavely, who I’ve known for over 30 years now. The camp was beautiful and serene on the water.
While I wasn’t sure how many fish we would catch, I knew our guide was going to be nice and not fuss at me like the meanie in Montana did last year π‘. And I was right π
Fun Fact: I was finishing my book, The Final Exam by Pauline W. Chen at the fishing camp. On our first fishing expedition, Cornell was showing me the correct way to hold the pole and I quickly recognized that it’s the same way surgeons are taught to hold the scalpel, as stated in the book!!!
The fish were biting!!! We caught catfish (which we released), one sheep head, speckled trout and redfish. Fun, fun on the water β€οΈ
I must say I had the best of both worlds. Cornell and/or Steven did the baiting & casting for me, and I pulled them in ππΌ
We had a great time, not only fishing, but sharing our hearts with each other, eating delicious food and relaxing.
My heart is filled with gratitude π

Lisa, your fishing trip went well. Fantastic!
Sorry you had to endure a difficult person on a trip to Montana. Being from the Big Sky, I must apologize for this.

Thank you! We loved Montana, and had a great time fly fishing there last year. Our guide, however was very impatient with me. Not very nice π. But guess who caught the first fish ππΌββοΈππΌ
