Good morning, and thank you for visiting my page, Life With Lisa! This Monday morning has me reflecting on my recent trip to Crested Butte. While hiking various trails through the beautiful wildflowers, a childhood memory came rushing back to me. The good ole days of when my Mom would give me an old mayonnaise jar with punctured holes on the lid, so I could go outside and catch bees in the front yard. (Or maybe, “here’s a jar, now go outside and play!”) Toes in the grass, sunshine on my back, fresh air, and the buzzing of bees. Pure excitement and simple joy.
And if I got thirsty? Who has time to go all the way back in the house when there is a hose right there to drink from!!! No time to waste, there’s bees to catch.
Simplicity at its finest and such a fun childhood memory to reflect on. Was this part of your childhood too?
Have a wonderful day my friends.

I remember trying to make perfume by putting roses in water. Couldn’t figure out why it never worked.

Happy Monday my friend! I got stung by a bee in the top of my head once. I cried like a baby. I never want to have another encounter with a bee, lol! I didn’t go outside much as a child. I was inside reading. However, I enjoy the outside now 🌻☀️💕🐎🦋

Oh no!!! That must have hurt. I’m not sure how I never got stung, because I spent a lot of time in the yard catching them! Happy Monday and thanks for stopping by!

In the summertime, almost all of my water breaks brought the garden hose out. Let the water run for a minute, and then taste a refreshing, cool drink.
