It’s Thankful Thursday, and I thank you for stopping by my blog!

I must admit that this past week has been quite the struggle. I’ve been hit with unexpected news that has my emotions all over the place. I’ll be the first to admit – I can’t handle it.

So as I sit here in rainy Charlotte, NC for Steven’s work, I’m digging deep. As the saying goes, “There is ALWAYS something to be thankful for.” For one, I’m in Charlotte NC!!! Secondly, I LOVE Steven’s work family and being reunited with many that I only see once or twice a year. Third, tomorrow I get to see my childhood friend who lives here. But, the icing on the cake was an unexpected phone call that I hold in the depths of my heart.

And for these reasons, I’m filled with gratitude as they all bring a smile to my face.
